English Department on Knowledge Stream

UT English Department faculty and visiting lecturers have been featured on Knowledge Stream, an online video archive created by WGTE Toledo.

Dr. Parama Sarkar, Assistant Professor of English, gives a talk in March 2014 as part of the Humanities Institute Happy Hour series, titled "Nothing Is What It Appears to Be: Identity and Performance in Indan Diasporic Cinema."

Dr. Vijay Prashad, George and Martha Kellner Chair in South Asian History and Professor of International Studies at Trinity College, gives the English Department's 2014 Summers Memorial Lecture, 'Letter From a Wound: The World We Live in Today'

Dr. Wai Chee Dimock, William Lampson Professor of English at Yale University, delivers the English Department's 2012 Richard Summers Memorial Lecture, "Recycling the Epic: Gilgamesh on Three Continents."

Dr. Matthew Wikander, Distinguished University Professor Emeritus of English, presents a lecture titled "'This is not the man': Falstaff and Martyrdom" at the 2010 Ohio Shakespeare Conference.

Dr. Carmen Phelps, formerly Associate Professor of English and Director of Graduate Studies, delivers a lecture on "Performative Politics in Chicago: Women Writers of the Black Arts Movement" at the Eberly Center for Women in 2009.
