Douglas W. Coleman, M.A. 1975, Ph.D. 1982, University of Florida) is a retired Professor of English. His research focuses on various areas within simulation-based Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), experimental methods in applied linguistics, and Human Linguistics. He is a former Chair of the TESOL CALL Interest Section, President of Ohio TESOL, Board Member of the Linguistic Association of Canada and the U.S. (LACUS), and Steering Committee Member of the International Simulation and Gaming Association (ISAGA). He served recently as President and Conference Program Chair of LACUS.
