The major English Department scholarships are awarded each spring for the following year. The department also runs the Shapiro Essay Revision Contest, traditionally in February, and the Shapiro Writing Competition every March. English Majors are also eligible for College of LLSS humanities scholarships; these are listed under “Scholarships and Awards” on the LLSS Current Students page.
